SWB511 is the power module for Wi-Fi thermostats. Most Wi-Fi thermostats with smart features need to be powered all the time.So it needs a constant 24V AC power source, typically called a C-wire. If you do not have a c-wire on the wall, the SWB511 can reconfigure your existing wires to power the thermostat without installing new wires throughout your home.
