    ▶Integration & System Capability

The SEG-X5 is more than a Zigbee gateway. It is designed as an integration hub for smart building, HVAC, energy management, and IoT platforms.
With open APIs and flexible deployment options, the gateway can connect Zigbee devices to private cloud platforms, third-party applications, building management systems (BMS), and energy management systems.
Depending on project requirements, system integrators can choose multiple integration methods, including Cloud-to-Cloud integration, Gateway-to-Cloud integration, and direct Gateway API integration.
This architecture enables customers to develop their own mobile applications, dashboards, cloud platforms, and automation systems while maintaining full control of data and user experience.

    ▶FAQ

Q1: How many Zigbee devices can SEG-X5 support in a real deployment?
SEG-X5 supports large Zigbee networks and can connect up to 200 Zigbee endpoints when repeaters are properly deployed. For smaller networks without repeaters, up to 32 end devices can connect directly to the gateway.

Q2: Can SEG-X5 continue working if the Internet connection is lost?
SEG-X5 supports local automation, schedules, and device linkage. Critical building functions can continue operating even when cloud connectivity is unavailable.

Q3: Can existing Zigbee devices be migrated to a replacement gateway?
Yes. SEG-X5 supports gateway backup and transfer functions. Existing devices, scenes, schedules, and automation settings can be synchronized to a replacement gateway to reduce maintenance effort.

Q4: Is Ethernet better than Wi-Fi for commercial Zigbee deployments?
For small projects, Wi-Fi gateways can be sufficient. For commercial buildings, hotels, and energy management systems, Ethernet connectivity typically provides greater reliability, reduced wireless interference, and easier long-term maintenance.
